TABA will hold its first Speed Networking event on Tuesday, Oct. 14th. “It’s the same concept as speed dating,” explains event Chairman Nancy Barron. “Associate members will have four minutes one-on-one and face-to-face with each Builder in a rotation.”
Speed Networking is free for builder members. Enrollment is limited to 20 builders and 20 associates.
“What a fun way to learn about our members’ products,” said Barron. “Builders may just find that perfect product or service they’ve been looking for, in addition to some great deals.”
Based on the same concept as Speed Dating, Speed Networking gives Associate members four minutes to introduce themselves and pitch their products and services.
After the four-minute time limit, a bell sounds and Associates rotate to a different Builder. Builders also stand to win some great prizes at the event, since all Associate participants contribute.
“Speed Networking is fast and furious but a fun concept,” said Ricky Casey. “This is a great way to introduce a product to a closed audience.”
The Associate participation fee is $250 for two representatives. Only two companies per industry will be allowed at the event. For example, two mortgage companies, two brick companies, etc.
